1. General Information

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors and customers of this website and online shop. By accessing this website or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

The offerings on this website are created and sold by a freelance artist. All works are handmade and produced in small quantities.

2. Products & Craft

All pieces offered are handmade ceramic artifacts. Due to the nature of the craft, each piece is unique and may show variations in form, texture, glaze, and color. Minor irregularities are not flaws but part of the character of handmade work.

By purchasing a piece, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the unique, imperfect, and handcrafted nature of the work.

Product images aim to represent each piece as accurately as possible. However, colors and details may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are placed through the website and processed via PayPal or other payment providers. Payment must be completed in full before an order is shipped.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout. Processing times may vary depending on availability and studio workload, especially as each piece is handmade.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. All delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Once a package has been handed over to the shipping provider, responsibility for delivery times and potential delays lies with the carrier. At this point, title and risk of loss pass to the buyer. Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs procedures, or events beyond my control cannot be assumed by me.

5. Returns & Cancellations

EU Customers

As required by EU law, customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, unless the item is custom-made or clearly personalized. Due to the nature of handmade ceramic work, all sales are considered final once the legal withdrawal period has passed. Returns based on personal preference, minor variations, or natural characteristics of handmade work are not accepted. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and carefully packaged. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.

International (outside of the EU Customers)

For customers outside the European Union, all sales are final. Orders cannot be canceled or returned once they have been placed. Due to the nature of handmade ceramic work, each piece is created with individual care and variation. Returns or exchanges based on personal preference, minor variations, or natural characteristics of the work are not accepted. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. I’m sorry I cannot offer the same terms as within the EU. As a small, solo practice, I need to keep processes simple and predictable to sustain both my craft and my work.

6. Errors & Defects

Handmade ceramics naturally contain variations in form, surface, glaze, and texture. These are intentional qualities of the work and do not constitute defects.

Only significant damage or functional defects present upon arrival qualify as legitimate defects under applicable law. In such cases, the buyer must contact the seller within 1 day after delivery and provide photographic documentation.

The seller is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, use, or care after delivery.

7. Care & Use

Ceramic works should be handled with care. Detailed care instructions are provided on the website and/or with the product.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including texts, images, and designs — is the intellectual property of the artist and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

9. Liability

The seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or purchased products, except where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

11. Changes

The seller reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. The version valid at the time of purchase applies.

12. Unforeseen Events

The artist is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill orders due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, customs delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

13. Data & Privacy

Personal data collected during the ordering process is handled in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your information for the purpose of fulfilling your purchase.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
