Connecting the mythical with the everyday
Shaped through ritual, silence, and presence, mythical artifacts emerge from the inner world.
An octopus sculpted out of brown and beige clay, emerging through a centre portal and two accompanying rings. With some of his body already changing in tone, this piece is right on the brink of change. This one of a kind centrepiece was the pinnacle of my exploration of octopi.
The octopus as a symbol stands for adaptability — the ability to change shape, respond to the moment, and staying in motion. Each of its 8 arms can sense, decide, and move on their own, while still being connected to the whole. The octopus is a powerful symbol of distributed intelligence — a form of knowing that doesn’t live only in the head, but throughout the body.
… and those 3 hearts of it must feel everything.

The Act of Creation
“To create is to open the inner gate, letting what dwells in the soul take shape in the world”
“In stillness, the work knows what it wants to become.”
“The Act of Creation is not forcing form, but letting go of control and walking the way until form appears.”
Sources of Inspiration
Relationships
Connections move through me like currents. In my work, I translate those emotional landscapes into symbols and shapes.
Spiritual Practice
The quiet stream that runs beneath my work — a daily return to stillness, and inner alignment. From there, clay becomes a vessel for what the soul is revealing.
