Intuitively shaped & eased into this world
An Artifact from the in-between
A story of depth, vulnerablity and a path to feeling secure.
—————————————————————
You can’t remember
the last time you felt truly held
It must have been ages at least
aeons to that
which you now know to bow before
the path is set
to please yourself
for there is no other way to serenity
so with each step you take
you get closer to the place you sought out
when your heart fell apart
that one fatefull day
that is so far into the past
yet that you carried every day
up until now
the forest of protection has not yet
fully regrown
but you begin to accept it
for what it already is
you know that the rest will follow
for with it
you have grown patient
the stumps will reach up into the sky
and you will be
hidden behind its veil
and protected by its wall
finally feel safe again
and then you’ll know
this time
you’ve built it yourself
and that which you keep maintained
no one can take away from you.
